2010-11 Calendar:

Parish 75th Anniversary Kickoff
St. Ursula Parish is requesting the participation and attendance of Club members at the 75th Anniversary Kick-Off celebration on Saturday, April 28th (5pm Mass, 6pm-10pm at the school auditorium). Tickets are $25/pp (Mass is free!) and are available by contacting Rosemary at the Parish Office (410-665-2111) or by email through the parish website at http://www.stursulaparish.org.

SCHOOL MAINTENANCE PROJECTS

Many of our members earned many service hours toward this year's commitment by doing projects at school over the summer months.  Some have already completed their service hours for the year, even before school started in September, while renovating classrooms and bathrooms, painting rooms and ceilings, and completing other projects throughout the school.  

In 2010-11, the SUFC also raised nearly $30,000.00 to fund scholarships, purchase materials for building improvements and educational materials, promote sports and music programs, and host social activities for the children.

Work by members of the Fathers' Club Maintenance Committee has saved the school tens of thousands of dollars in labor costs, helping to keep tuition costs down.  You may have heard that St. Ursula School has one of the lowest tuition rates in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and it's true.  Archbishop O'Brien has directed each school to list its tuition rates on its web site, and a quick check shows St. Ursula as being one of the best values, due in large part to the activities of the parents, and the work product they contribute to the school.  We as a club hope that this will be able to continue, and that the school remains both an educational facility as well as a Catholic Community.

More projects are planned for this fall.  You do NOT need any special skills or tools to lend a hand, just a willingness to help.  Please contact the Maintenance Committee Chairman for more information.

Saint Ursula Fathers' Club The St. Ursula Fathers' Club has a three-pronged purpose:
•		To increase involvement in St. Ursula School activities by the members
•		To raise funds for the benefit of St. Ursula School, and
•		To promote opportunities for members to participate in social activities in a Catholic Christian environment

Our meetings are generally held on the second Sunday of each month in the school auditorium (gym.)  All fathers, grandfathers, uncles, godfathers and other male relatives, 21 years of age and older,  of current St. Ursula School students and graduates are welcome to join.

Membership
Open to all male relatives (21 years of age and older) of St. Ursula School students and graduates.  
Dues are $20 per year.

The Fathers' Club operates committees which work to benefit the membership, the school and its children.  Most of the work of the Club is accomplished by these committees, and your help is very much needed.  
Work on committee projects should be expected as a part of membership.
